Holiday Inn Express & Suites Batesville, an IHG Hotel

The employees were awesome. Breakfast was hot and fresh. It's nestled in a nice quiet area of Batesville but less than a mile or so from places to eat. Close parking, a snack/vending area, and a nice size pool. It's 3ft to 5ft end to end but was clean. The air conditioning was out in the pool area which may be tough for non-swimmers. Machines break so we understood. Which leads me to the only negative I have. The floors on the 2nd+3rd floors had a slight give. We assumed it was us because we're heavy but no. We were on the 2nd floor and heard every step, bump, or stomp they made above us and they were very busy. This in turn made us move as little as possible so not to annoy the patrons below us. However this seems to be a slightly older building that may be the cause of the give. If someone could put a clock in the pool house it would make it easier to keep track of time. Time flies when your having fun. We will definitely recommend this Express but only the first floor for now. Have a great trip!!

Very comfortable bed and pillows. Front desk staff is personable. Great selection of warm and continental items for breakfast.

Room clean and comfortable, nice beds and linens and great pillows. Love the dual roller shades on the windows. The pool and hot tub was very nice and inviting. Check out at noon was excellent! We had everything we expected!

The whole experience was strange. Staff at check in were slow, The welcome bag with a cookie - weird. The room design - can't see TV from anywhere but on the bed. The rooms were painted by Helen Keller and she used bright blue- Odd! Way overpriced $139 for this place. Could hear Shrek stomping around above me all night. Better off to go next door, to a newer, quieter hotel. Made a mistake picking this place out of a hat.
