It's a great apartment building but one thing really annoys me. I enjoy that music is played in the lobby which makes the place feel like a nice hotel...until a commercial comes on. Not how I want to be greeted after a long day. Management, please pay the 20 bucks a month to remove the commercials from the music service. It's cheap. Update: A month later and I had to listen to another commercial this morning as I left the building. Note to management... I can see that over 50 potential renters have seen my comment.

I lived here in my final year of college, and I really enjoyed it. The location is excellent with convenient access to public transit, my unit was quiet even though it faced the Metra tracks, the amenities are great, the building and common spaces are beautiful, and utilities were all included in our monthly rent (though I'm not sure if this is still the case). The A/C could sometimes be touchy and there were no screens on the windows to block out swarms of small flies in warm weather, but those were my only complaints and they're pretty insignificant.

Miss Juaria is the ABSOLUTE BEST! I lived at Solstice previously and moved back to the building, all because I knew Miss Juaria would be around. She is incredibly helpful and committed to helping her residents. She is also always excited to see me and opens her door (and answers her phone, even after her work hours!) to respond to any and all of my questions. Even more, she was super flexible and moved things around just so I could move into the building when I arrived. Seeing Miss Juaria around the building has been the highlight of my time at Solstice, and I could not more grateful for her and my time here at the building.

Melanee has made Solstice feel like home to me. She is the most warm and friendly and wonderful human being, and I always feel so well taken care of by her. I live alone, and it's such a comfort to know she is right downstairs if I need her. Truly can't say enough about her, she's amazing! Editing this to add that I was traveling back to Chicago late last night and lost my keys in transit…Melanee tried to let me in and couldn’t, so she called Juaria who left her home at 10:30 PM to let me in…these are truly wonderful people who will do anything for the residents of Solstice and I am so grateful!

Yes! We have a self-service car wash area, on-site dry cleaning, and also have bike storage.
