I really enjoy going here. I much prefer outdoor ranges to indoor ones. Great place to shoot and the private bays are the way to go. I met the owner today, Carrol Hester, and she was really nice. Keep up the good work!!!

"San Antonio's Friendliest place to shoot?" Yeah right. These guys were nothing but condesceding and rude.

They need to update their hours online. They close at 6pm now, not 8.
Lunch Bo3
Other ranges allow minors to shoot with minimal to no wait time, this place does not.

$5 membership card $11 Per Person Daily $17.50 per person Private Bay Rental (2hr)
Yes they do, every other Saturday if I'm not mistaken, you do have to bring lunch, you can rent a firearm if you don't have one, if you rent a firearm from them, you do have to purchase their ammunition, unless you bring your own handgun. Price should be about 50 to 60 if I remember correctly.
Its a blue card with a bullet hole in the top right corner people are saying it's 5$ with membership but I don't know if that's the membership card they're talking about
Yes just ask
Can u rent a Glock here ?
Pick up some reactive targets at Walmart before you go to range, cheaper.
Flate rate of $11. You can move from pistol to 50, 100, 200, and/or 300 for free. If you like, you can use them all. You cannot move to private bay, unfortunately.
In the private bay, yes. There's isn't that much restrictions when using a private bay. And for as many people in a bay? I don't remember. I think it's around 4-6 maybe.
1. No, you don't have to reserve in advance. 2. You can only reserve in advance during the week, not on the weekend. 3. Yes, you can shoot all 3 in one bay. 4. Unfortunately, they only have 1 bay that is designated for shotguns and it costs more, like $23. 5. Unless you are the first ones there, you will likely have to wait for the shotgun bay on the weekend, possibly 3+ hours, due to its popularity and the staff forming a waiting list. So, plan accordingly.
It is $30, last I checked.
They are 25yrds. We just rented one last week.
You can rent a private bay anytime. I am unsure how many are available.
300 yards is the longest range at the bullet hole.
It's $11 per shooter, you can bring your own guns and ammo or rent from them but you must buy their ammo for rentals. Ammo is sold by the box not individually, price depends on brand.
If you mean a Texas issued Licensed to Carry a firearm, no.
You're asking the Google audience. If you're curious what firearms are available at the Bullethole, I suggest you stop by the business.
Yes when they cease fire and change targets usually it's about every 10 minutes or so
Yes, bring the table.
Yes.
Contact your local Academy Sports and Outdoors, they facilitate this service.
There is a pistol range with different distance. They have rifle range 50 yards and up plus private ranges
Yes, they do offer rentals. Costs vary.
Yes. Shoot as many as you want
No, you don't need an FFL to rent a gun, full-auto or not. Rentals are supervised and you pay by the magazine.
Yes. They rent
There is a single private bay that is designated for shotguns, Bay 7. It is an additional $5 above the normal private bay price of $17.50. It is also booked almost constantly. Also, if you shoot slugs, you may shoot your shotgun at the 50 yard line.
No, you can definitely rapid fire. In fact, you can rent full autos there. There are specific areas designated for rapid fire: 1. The pistol range. 2. The private bays. The rifle lines are intended for zeroing and precision shooting and rapid fire is not allowed there. If you want to rapid fire a rifle, rent a private bay.
For sure the private bays are only 35 yards. I run drills in them for 3 gun. I use the regular rifle range to sight in hunting rifles. You get practice at distance since they offer up to 300 yards there. No fast shooting though. They ask you wait a few seconds between shots. Try a place to shot to practice distance follow up shots. They only require 1 second between shots at their range. They are more friendly to accidental violations of these time restrictions. If you really want long distances, Austin has a range that goes to 1000 yards near capital hill. Anything else I can help with let me know
As others have said, with propper ID. Even from other countries.
Of course just as long as they're under adult supervision.
Private bay yes. You're also able to rapid fire.
Probably should call them on this issue. They more than likely will have the answer to your question. Happy shooting
Adults must be 18 to shoot rifles and 21 to shoot pistols. Children of virtually any age can shoot, with adult supervision. (Staff discretion.)
They were polite and professional when i took the course three years ago. At that time it was the CHL course. We did the classroom work and testing for that in a trailer. The target testing we did at their firing line for that.
They also have a bay for Shotguns.
Yes. However, they only allow them on the 50 yard range (slugs only) and a specific private bay for shotguns (any shells and any firearm). They have no trap or skeet. If you need to zero a slug shotgun or test a load of shot, you can do that here.
Yes they do! All kinds of guns...
Not that I have seen, they sell guns there. Might do a consignment if asked.
