I have never been to Fort Lauderdale. My husband and I needed transportation from our cruise ship to our hotel. The hotel recommended All Star. I texted All Star the information they asked of me including the hotel name. All Star was there with the shuttle when we disembarked and went to drop me off at a hotel with the same name that I was staying at. We were staying close to the beach and not the airport. The driver called the office and said that was not part of their regular route and it would cost more and that I needed to call the office. I decided I would would wait until we got to the hotel because the other passengers did not need to hear my conversation. The driver then drops off the last two passengers and tells me I need to call the office or he will have to take us back to the cruise ship terminal. At this point I’m pretty frustrated so I call their office. I am told it will be another 30.00 dollars to get us to our hotel. I told her when I booked I have the name of our hotel not knowing there were two named the same. She stood her ground and said we needed to pay. I told her I wanted to talk to the owner. She then told me the owner was the one that took my reservation. I would have taken an Uber or a Lyft had I know this. What I thought was going to be 30.00 became 60.00 and Lyft would have been less than 25.00. I will say the driver was very nice and apologetic. He was nothing but professional. If you plan on using this company make sure you give them an exact address of where you need to be delivered to. I myself will never use them again.
