I've taken 3 vehicles to Auto Tint Way in the past 2 years. Timelines were met, quality install of window tint, and fair pricing were my experiences each time... ...until 8/26/2022. As usual, I booked an appointment for another vehicle, 9am. Through no fault of theirs, I had to jump through several hoops to get someone to take the vehicle to be tinted, as my schedule didn't permit time. To my surprise, I received a call saying that Auto Tint Way needed to cancel my appointment. The reason: they couldn't get the door open. Huh? Ok, stuff happens. The problem that I had was that there is a non-refundable deposit of $60 if the customer cancels. So if it's my fault, Auto Tint Way keeps my deposit because I wasted their time, BUT if the business cancels, the customer doesn't get anything but my deposit back, nothing for my time. This shop has done excellent work on my vehicles in the past, but this last interaction has left me apprehensive about dealing with them again.
