Nothing crazy out the ordinary

I have been giving blood for a long time. Quite frankly I love the fact that my blood is used to save others lives. I think tonight might be last time donating with One Blood though. They have dramatically increased the size of their needles, it used to be a painful prick, now its downright painful going in and painful the entire time which tonight was over 45 minutes because they are always short staffed. This needle which looks like a roofers nail is designed to draw our blood much faster and get us out sooner. Great in theory, but when you have one person trying to draw blood from 3 or 4 people and all their blood bags are full, and then they start clamping down on the blood draw and make you sit there for another 15 minutes with this roofers nail in your arm. I would still like to donate every 8 weeks but not with One Blood anymore.

They pay by how far u drive to drop off each package. But it's good pay. My check usual comes out to be 700 every week so it's good for me.
You'll have to check on the website Oneblood.org to see, it changes depending on location and every month / few weeks
