Go anywhere else! They like writing your policy and then getting their commission for years and years with so little work. Then heaven forbid you reach out after 8 years of commission with no work, Susan gets annoyed that you have questions and want to explore options that would suit your business best.

Customer service is a joke I feel like nobody at this company has any idea what's going on around them and they are no help at all

Questions & Answers

This is a follow up question to one I posted prior regarding your agency’s determination policy on high risk drivers... *Clarification* I am asking this in terms of commercial drivers who hold a CDL. Thank you

I think they are fair when it comes to CDL drivers..Although if the driver is a safe and cautious driver there is no reason for them to be considered high risk

What is your insurance agency policy on determining a high risk driver?

Hi Trish. Thanks for your question. Driver acceptability is generally determined by the insurance carriers we work with, and each carrier has their own standards they follow when considering drivers. An example of things carriers that write commercial auto coverage look for when considering drivers is if the driver is over 21, has at least 2 years' driving experience, has no DUIs/DWIs in the last 3-5 years, and has fewer than 2 moving violations over the past 3-5 years, among other similar requirements. Again, these are just general guidelines and can vary between insurance carriers. For a more detailed response to your specific situation, I would suggest calling our office at (801) 685-6860 and speaking to one of our agents. Then we would have a better idea of what carrier would be a good fit for you and what their specific requirements are for drivers.
