Allentown residents are very fortunate to have the Yard Waste Center. It prevents yard waste from winding up in landfills and allows the residents to recycle tree branches and limbs, leaves, grass clippings, grasses, etc. Our yard waste is repurposed once it is converted into mulch, wood chips, etc. and in return may be used by the residents of Allentown. Thank you for being proactive and for caring about the planet.

You now have to call 610-437-8729 to make an appointment to drop off electronics. It is free to recycle but the appointment is necessary.
Goes by the truck bed load
There is mulch there. If I remember correctly you can load it yourself for free or pay to have them load it in your pickup with the front end loader. However it’s not very good mulch. Very coarse with large chunks.
No you have to show that you are an Allentown resident. If you can get the home owner to go with you than yes.
You have to pay a dump/transfer station facility
5 bags of garbage max on a trash night. That includes yard waste. Allentown doesn't accept the brown bags anymore for yard waste. Old wood must be cut down to 16 inch pieces and tied together, not too heavy for them to pick up on a trash night. They will not take it unless it's cut down to smaller pieces.
