Room was not properly cleaned. Dirty shower, refrigerator and microwave. Looked like the microwave didn't even work. Dirt and debris in corners and edges of floors. Looks like they do the bare minimum to get the rooms ready for the next customers. Towels in bathroom didn't look clean. The owner/manager likes to use the night window even in the day during normal business hours. If you want to take your chances and try to get them to understand what you want through the night window or office window, have at it.

This place was TERRIBLE?? Extremely dirty, the lock on the door was missing, the curtain was broken - it wouldn't close all the way so anyone walking by could see you. Toilet ran the entire time, shower was disgusting (wanted shower shoes) and backed up when you used it. The walls were all marred up, the floors and baseboards had layers of dust, dirt and hair. There were layers of grime/blood(?) all over around the bathroom and around the sink/mirror walls and ceiling. The fridge had food in it from the previous people who stayed and it wouldn't get cold enough to keep anything cold. The manager/owner was extremely rude. I called down to ask if the room had even been cleaned and between 6 phone calls - he hung up on me every single call. He even told me it was one of his "best" rooms. I was supposed to stay several days, and immediately canceled my stay there and found someplace else. No way it was clean or a safe place to stay.

This was the dirtiest place I've ever stayed, including campgrounds. There was hair everywhere in the bathroom. All over the shower, in the towels, and all over the floor and walls. So much soap scum all over the entire shower. The towels were stained and rough. I'm not even sure that they were washed. I felt dirtier after showering. The smoke smell was overwhelming and very jarring for someone who is never around smoke. I'm not trying to be difficult or prissy, but there are certain things you expect from a motel, and the number one thing is cleanliness. I can accept a bare bones room as long as it is clean and this did not begin to meet that standard. I would also feel safer with an extra safety latch on the door since the rooms are outside facing. This is something that makes me feel more comfortable as a young traveler. However, the sheets were clean (thankfully) and the location was beautiful. The couple at the front desk were kind.

The receptionist possibly the owners of the inn I had a plesent interaction and they were helpful and willing to help. My issue why I give the place a low review is that the room were not cleaned. The person they hired should be replaced. Our room, had dirt on the floors, there was hair (or pubic hair) on one of the towels, the toilet paper roll was not replaced but a new roll was left on the toilet tank and food left in the refigerator. From what I have seen and read they are updating and renovating the rooms and that is great, but if the little things can not be done no matter what improvements are done it would be hard to recommend this Inn.
