Hotel booked at the last minute to enjoy one more day of the Joshua Tree National Park. Check-in is easy, if there is no one at the reception, you have to go to the hotel next door in the parking lot. The room is clean with safe, refrigerator and even microwave! The decoration is a little dated, but the bed is good, the sheets clean. A little lick of paint in the rooms and it deserves 5 stars! It will be perfect for spending one or two nights near the park...!

Last minute place to stay, luckily we were able to get a room considering it was Coachella which had everything booked up for miles, this place had an awesome hot tub, a swimming pool a pavilion you could cook out in which we made steaks and lobster tails yummy! Twentynine palms is the town not far at all from one of the entrances to Joshua Tree National Park the whole reason we were in that town. But due to the location of this hotel we got to see a lot of cool spots we never would've seen! Prices are reasonable and rooms were clean!

Very comfy place. The restaurant is almost non existent and they have literally zero staff, you have to check in at the adjacent building across the parking. But it was really quite, comfortable bed, had all the things that you need for a two day visit to Joshua tree national park. Decent places to eat around too.

We had a miserable experience staying here. The hotel is so understaffed that you have to go to the front desk at the hotel NEXT DOOR to check in. Not their fault, but not ideal. The sink in our room was clogged and wouldn't drain at all. I tried repeatedly to call the front desk but never got an answer, presumably due to under-staffing. Upon finally reaching someone at the front desk, a maintenance worker came to our room and was there for a couple of hours trying to fix the sink but couldn't. We were told the hotel was fully booked and we couldn't switch rooms. Not what we wanted to hear, but understandable enough. So I asked if we could get any sort of a discount on our room, since we would be spending two nights in a room with an entirely unusable sink. That's when I was told that there would be no discount offered because "there are plenty of people who would be happy to have that room at that price, even with a broken sink." Wow, okay. So we spent two days washing our hands and faces in the bathtub. Other issues included: a firm two-towel-per-room policy (unless you want to pay for more) - not ideal for a family of four, an ice machine area with no ice machine, and paper-thin walls. The best part was the pool area, though be sure to bring your two towels from your room, because they don't have towels at the pool.
