I had lost faith that I'd ever be pain free but Dr. Clark took amazing care of me! You won't be disappointed!

Ten months ago I could barely walk and I refused to even consider back surgery. I was referred to Dr. Clark by a relative who had struggled with back problems. I can now perform or participate in all my former activities. Some with no pain and others with minor pain which is usually relieved with the back exercises he has given to me. I would definitely recommend Dr. Clark to anyone who is suffering with back pain.

In April of this year I injured my back moving a generator. At first, I thought it was simply another pinched sciatic nerve and it would go away in a day or two. After one day I begged my wife to take me to the ER as the pain was unbearable. At the ER I was told it was simply a muscle tear and it would fix itself over time. I spent some time on Google looking at spine treatment options. When I called Advanced Spine & Disc Sariah listened to my issues and got me in the next day. When I hobbled into the office, I couldn't sit on the chairs and asked if I could wait for Dr. Clark on the floor. When he came in, he laughed and said "Believe it or not, this isn't the first time I've had a consult on the floor." One of my main reasons for the visit was because I wanted to get an MRI to find out if the issue was muscle or if I had ruptured or herniated my disc. While I was waiting for Dr. Clark, Sariah anticipated exactly what he was going to ask and had spent the entire time I was waiting making phone calls to various MRI locations. As soon as Dr. Clark said "Yeah I need to get imaging ordered" Sariah already had a location that would see me that day. The kicker to this whole issue is my family had a vacation to Cancun planned 2 weeks after I injured my back. Dr. Clark, after seeing the imaging results explained my options, surgery, shots and medication or spinal decompression. I expressed interest in the spinal decompression he took the time to walk me through how it works, and what the treatment would accomplish. Dr. Clark then told me "I can get you to Cancun and make it so you're not constantly thinking about the pain." Fast forward to today, I was able to make the Cancun trip, thanks in part to Dr. Clark and his staff making some exceptions for me. Coming in on days when the office was closed, or staying later to accommodate my extra sessions. The end result, it's now July. We went on the trip, and true to his word, I was able to travel and I didn't think about the pain. Thanks to his office, I am up and walking, exercising, riding and doing things I was afraid I wouldn't be able to do for a very, very long time. One last note. I enjoy going into Dr. Clarks office. He, and his staff have a smile on their face, they care about you, and what is happening with not only your treatment, but with how the treatment is affecting your personal lives. I would happily recommend Dr. Clark and his staff to anyone with back issues.

Dr. Clark and his team are great! From the first appointment I set until now, they have been focused on helping my back issues. I had resigned the thought that I would never be able to do some of the things I loved and used to do. Dr. Clark and his team have helped me take the steps to bring those activities back into my life. My back is better than it’s been in over 3 years. I didn’t realize how much I missed activities like golfing. Thank you to the whole team!!

The only way to determine what is causing your sciatica is by a spine specialist who performs a thorough history, examination and through imaging.
Surgery attempts to address this problem but unfortunately it has very limited success rates. Scar tissue, muscle atrophy, infection and chronic pain are all associated with back surgery.
The most common cause of sciatica is compression of any of the 5 nerves just before they exit the spine as a result of disc bulge or herniation
The canal in the center that runs from your up and down in your spine is called the Central Canal. This canal is really a long tube created by the hole or canal in the middle of each of the vertebrae. These vertebrae that form your spine are stacked on top of one another. The central canal is where your Spinal Cord and Spinal Nerves run. This canal can narrow and become smaller as we age and our spine degenerates. This is called Spinal Stenosis.
In cases of stenosis traditional spinal manipulation poses a potential risk to the underlying tissues in the spinal canals, meaning that your pain and the narrowing could get worse. Traditional manipulation is done using your hands to twist and contort the spine to create a desired movement in spinal joints. The benefits of spinal manipulation in many spinal conditions have been well-proven to be beneficial, but is risky for the condition of spinal stenosis.
Yes, Advanced Spine & Disc treatment options are designed to correct the underlying problem that is causing your pain, not just treat the symptoms. We use Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression with the DRX9000™ and methods specifically for treating Spinal Stenosis to increase space in the canal and reduce pinching on your spinal cord or nerves.
If you have neck pain, back pain, or any other type of spine-related pain that lasts more than a few days, it is worth seeing a spine specialist.

I don't use insurance here, just pay it like a monthly bill.
Sciatica refers to pain, tingling, or numbness along the sciatic nerve, which runs from the bottom of your spinal cord down the back of the leg.
When your disc is damaged or torn, the nucleus — the soft jelly like substance inside the disc can leak out. If it leaks out completely, it’s called a herniated disc. If the layers of the outer material (annulus) are not all completely torn, discs can bulge without herniating. It’s like if you step on a balloon and it doesn’t pop. The balloon bulges out to one side or the other without the rubber breaking.
Dr. Clark specializes in the treatment of spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease, herniated discs, sciatica, and other causes of back and neck pain with spinal decompression therapy.
