The lake is amazing. It is a beautiful campground, very well maintained. The restrooms and showers are clean. Some sites are small, if you are coming with a big rig look for a pass through site.

This is a great place. It has showers and a great marina. Cole and Jackson are very helpful and friendly. Dog friendly. We go a lot and will be back.

Pretty good. It was a lot better when not as many people came. Lol. Everything seemed to work, camp was clean and organized. Not alot of trees or foliage, so it's pretty noisy. Highway noise and headlights were bothersome. If you have a boat, get on the water early before they restrict access. On busy weekends, you can wait hours if you get there too late. I felt some confusion about the posted hours for the marina store. One source I saw on their website I thought I said 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. but when we went to buy something at 7:00 p.m., they were already closed. Overall, it definitely is a first class facility. I wish they would stop building so many developments around the reservoir.

Go to Jordanelle State Park and their website should have what you need.

Is the campground open?

Yes. April is generally when the water is turned on and late October is when they usually turn off the water off for the winter. There is dry camping until the snow covers the camp ground loop roads. Main park roads are plowed all winter. The bathroom at the top of the ramp is heated and open all year. You can dry camp in the marina parking lot in the winter.
