Loved this place, and I wish I lived closer. The views are spectacular, the grass is lovely for the dogs to play in. The pond was great for my dog who likes to swim, and we had a lovely time while we were there.

Really can't say enough about this gem- well maintained grass area right next to a pond with lots of entry access for dogs of varying water confidence. We've been twice and have been really impressed with the geniality of the dogs and their owners. Great vibes!

Very nice, good sized dog park. A few more shaded sitting spots would be nice.

Questions & Answers

People don't watch their dogs. How many times do other people have to step in and save your dog because owners aren't paying attention?

I will admit I worry about this at times, but no major incidents at the water side for me. I have seen it happen to other dogs though. I find myself being extra vigilant and staying in close proximity but the park itself is worth trying. I also try to engage with the owners when I need to. I don't come here regularly, because it's far, but my dog and I have left happier than when we arrived.

Can people swim in the pond with their dogs here? Mostly, how clean is the water? Hoping to encourage my dog to swim by example.

I have never seen people swimming in with the dogs and don't know if it is allowed. Pond seems pretty clean to me, and my Golden puppy enjoyed it immensely.

This looks amazing but I'm seeing a fence that might not keep my little curious dog in. Is it a completely closed fence or more like a cattle fence?

It's a chain link fence. It keeps my dogs in and they are runners. I'm pretty sure they keep the fence secure because there are quite a few dogs that go there and it's near busy roads.
