Deborah’s kitchen has excellent food. It has that grandma cooked it taste. Me and my wife went there for the first time and we were treated like family. Her deserts that she gave us was banging!! You have to try that banana pudding. I would definitely eat there again.

i still can't believe i spent $17.28 on TWO short ribs. i didn't want a whole meal, so the employee offered me just the ribs for $16, i said ok and went with it, i got where i was going and was ready to open them up and eat, and there are just 2 little short ribs. i will admit that they did taste good, but not $8+ each good

The food here is absolutely delicious. They have so many vacations though. Almost every time I come to Philly, they're closed, so I've only been there once. I wish they would have an interim person to run it when they're on vacation. Back to the food: We ordered the turkey wings platter with cabbage and mac and cheese plus the fried whiting meal with broccoli, string beans and some more mac and cheese. Their baked macaroni and cheese was sooooo good, tastes almost like my mom's. The turkey wings had a tasty gravy on top and were moist and tender. I liked the broccoli; it was lightly seasoned and not mushy and overcooked. The fish was flaky and perfectly seasoned, not overly salty and tough. The string beans and cabbage were both tasty: not stringy, not overcooked, and I'm glad there was no pork in them. I would definitely return and have recommended them. Hopefully next time I come, they'll be open.

This place was the worst food I ever had short ribs cold n nasty fish sandwich no tarter sauce no hot sauce no nothing stuffing was a minus 100 tasted like nothing but wet bread one fish sandwich one side fish short rib plate with mac and stuffing 50$ I’m from out of town and just wanted food never felt so robbed I paid thinking prob huge PORTION like some hood spots do nope regualar one person 15 meal but literally the WORST FOOD I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE AND I DID TEN YEARS IN JAIL
