Me and my husband stayed at this complex a year and a half, from 2019 to 2021. I hate to rate this place so low because I feel it depends on the apartment you get there, but me and my husband had a terrible experience. The staff are wonderful and we never had an issue with them but our apartment was awful. We had a heavy smoker right below us and it filled the whole apartment instantly after he would smoke. We couldn't run the heat or air most of the time because the smoke would sit in it. I still think alot of the responsibility falls on us because we didn't know it was a facility that allowed smoking. We drove by a couple days before we signed the lease and saw a guy smoking underneath our apartment but we still took a chance. As long as you do a little investigating, you should be able to avoid getting a place above a smoker. Also we had things taken out of car on more than one occasion, but again we left our car unlocked so that's on us. The area does not feel very safe in general, but that may be a personal thing. The person below us also made alot of very smelly foods that would fill our apartment and it was very unbearable. But again, this is something that happens at many apartments. We also had a few bugs. Nothing serious but we did have to spray ourselves. Maintaince came in to our apartment every 3 months to replace filters, that was somewhat annoying but not bad enough to leave. 3 months before we left the guy below us had his male family member move in and it was twice as much smoking and food smells. It wasnt a normal cigarette smell, it was a special cigar that was worse than any cigarette smell ive ever smelled. Ultimately it was the smoke and food smells that made us leave. These were things we couldn't tolerate so if I were to try another apartment, it would have to be a first floor. I still think you can have a good experience in this complex, these are things to just be aware of

I've been here 10 years next month. The landlords and maintenance staff are amazing. It's a nice, quiet neighborhood and I would highly recommend it.
