The gals that helped me were phenomenal! Thanks
Jade McDermaid
A botanical wonderland! Full of everything and anything you can think of! The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Able to pick up a variety of indoor and outdoor plants, with a plethora of pots that are simple and fun.
A K
I went to Millcreek gardens to look at their trees. I talked with a very knowledgeable employee who helped me in my research of trees. I decided to buy two trees but couldn't pick them up that day. After thinking about the trees during the weekend, I realized I should wait to plant trees. That's when I first realized that the bottom of the receipt says the only refunds you get are store credit. I had never shopped here before (usually I go to Glover, Western Gardens or Deseret Nursery) and had never heard of a store refusing to give refunds (especially three days after purchase AND with the receipt). The trees had never even left their property but that is their "policy." I was first issued store credit and then I went to the manager to get my credit card refunded. We finally got it all worked out but I am not impressed by a business that refuses to give customers their money back. It's not a matter of not having the ability it's a matter of them not wanting to. I liked the nursery up until I realized that. I will never shop there again or recommend them unless they fix their "policy."

I agree with Gayle. If your answer is "Call to find out.", your local guide designation should be suspended. You are not helping at all, you shall be awarded no points, and may God have mercy on your soul. If you'd like to see how a garden center business does well to take advantage of this forum to educate their customers, check out Lambert's.
Every May they have tons of really nice 99 cent geraniums that last all year, but they always run out so idk if they still have any left this year
I don't believe they offer tree services, but if you took a picture or sample of your tree in, Bill or John could definitely identify a disease and recommend solutions
You can buy topsoil at Millcreek. You can also buy soil amendments and soil pep to help amend the soil you have. Working a little compost into your soil every year helps to improve what you have. I work some into my garden and will spread a little over my lawn every couple years.
I have bought ladybugs there many times, but it's good to call to make sure they are in stock.
I know they had hydrangeas but I don't recall seeing climbing hydrangea there
They are on sale .99 cents there were a ton yesterday!!
Yes they do I saw a few when I was there
Nature has a way of sorting these things out herself! I wouldn't mess with it personally! Good luck!
First week of May. There are still some left though!
Hi Julie, I personally haven't purchased a tree from Millcreek Gardens yet, but on their website they have a tree finder & help you order or tell you what is in stock 👍 http://plants.millcreekgardens.com/12190009/
They sell used pots at $1 per gallon, so a 6" pot should be less
Roses should do just fine. If you are looking at other trees or shrubs that may work, you are welcome to come in and visit with our knowledgeable staff.
We do carry bamboo! We carry a couple different varieties, running generally between $49 and $99 depending on size. Come in and any of our Tree and Shrub specialists will be happy to help you find the perfect bamboo for you!
Most maples do like acidic soil. Millcreek does a good job of stocking trees that do well in Utah. Speak to one of the tree pros about maples. Be sure to have some information on the planting site and what you want the tree to do for your landscape. You can also get a soil test to be sure.
Yes they do
It changes from day to day. Give them a call, if they don't have it, you might want to call Discount Nursery on 3300 S. just about a block east of 9th east. Good luck!
Please be sure to understand how Aspen trees grow. Do you like invasive trees? I love Aspen trees too, but they do best in the mountains.
Fuschias are a great plant that will attract them. Anything with a trumpet looking flower will usually do the trick. I would check them out closer to May though as Fuschias do not like the cold.
I am not Millcreek Gardens. I suggest you call and ask them a specific question like this.
We do sell elderberry bushes in several varieties and sizes. If you are looking for a specific kind, give us a call to find out if it is in stock.
They are moderate to expensive, but the expertise of many of their staff members make it worth the price if you need help or advice with problems in your yard.
Sorry I do not know.
Call or go in and ask for Bill, hes the seed Specialist. (He's not in on Fridays)
I use the rule... If it says seedless or table then no seeds. If it's a wine grape they have seeds normally.
Calling the store directly is always a good idea...
They sell pre-made cinder block planter boxes that are very nice. Millcreek Gardens has a display but it is not assembled yet. They have a flyer showing different sizes that can be ordered and picked up at the supplier. I sell the planter boxes to them so if you would like to save on shipping of $30.00 you can pay for it at Millcreek Gardens and pick it up from the supplier's yard.
To get the maximum amount of fruit you need to make sure you get the flowers pollinated. Male amd female plants can help as well as enough bees etc. I personally would make sure you buy the plants they reccomentld so yoy get the beat yield.
If you want to talk to an actual person fron Millcreek Gardens, you might want to call the store directly...
This might be a question better answered by directly calling the store....
Not that I've seen before. They like full sun. When i planted some in a semi shaded area, they lasted a couple of years before thinning out completely.
To follow up with what Trevor said, you should call the store directly.
These questions are received by Google Maps users. Businesses do not answer these questions. I would suggest calling the store to find your answer.
If Millcreek doesn't have any they will where to send you.
You shoukd provably call the store directly to find out whay they have in stock.
You should call the store... Or even better, go in.
