Questions & Answers

My first orchid that I ordered and received today, Nov. 5th was free shipping. I would like to order more but there is a shipping charge. Why was that? It is a beautiful plant by the way.

Good question! I looked up your order and you chose our Gift Orchid in Bud special which consists of a plant of our choice ready to bloom and a handwritten note if requested. With this particular special, shipping is automatically included in the price. Thank you for asking, hope this helps

do you carry tying shin blue jay, or tying shin cupid phalaenopsis orchids

Hi there, thanks for your question! Unfortunately we do not have those types of orchids, please stop by or visit our website to see what we have to offer.

I stopped by a few wk's ago for a specific orchid I purchased from you a few years ago and it was no longer available. Can you direct me to where I can find 2 more? Miay's Fascination x Cumberland Beauty (Rob124). Even specimens I must "nurse"?

No unfortunately I cannot. Best of luck are you finding what you're looking for. Have a great day!

Can I keep my cattleya in the rocky medium it arrived in or should I repot it in bark?

Kristine Stewart | Oct 3, 2020

You can keep it in the rock! We pot our Cattleya orchids in an expanded rock called stalite, it drains really well and does not break down like bark does, so less re-potting needs to be done. Cattleyas are set back by re-potting so we do not recommend it unless the plant is crawling out of the pot or the media is broken down and not allowing for sufficient airflow. You might need to adjust your watering as the rock drys quicker than bark.
