I have been looking for a allergist to help my daughter with her eczema flare up and keep her allergies under control. I have visited a few doctors and they all recommended steroids creams and shots. She's is only 6yo so I wanted to get a 2nd opinion. My friend referred me to Dr. Lateef and I am so happy she did! He understood exactly what was going on with my daughter and recommended a plan for me to follow. He explained everything so clearly and was so nice. They sent me the full plan and everything I needed in writing which was so helpful and she is doing great! I took my infant to see him as well and they gave me a plan for her and I am hopeful it will work. I like that he did not go straight to recommending her with steroid and shots.

I just started bringing my son (6 years old) to Dr. Lateef. We have had such a wonderful experience both times we have been there so far. Dr. Lateef is so patient and thorough. He’s great with kids! He will remain our family allergist as long as we need the care!

Dr. Lateef is one of the best doctor's I have ever been to. He listens to all symptoms and issues before making any diagnosis/recommendations. He provides very thorough and clear instructions after your visit with various steps to take. Dr. Lateef looks at your whole history and takes a holistic approach combining medicine and natural remedies to treat not only the symptom but also the underlying issue. I have been very happy seeing Dr. Lateef and can highly recommend him.

Questions & Answers

Hey, what kind of insurance do you accept ?

WE ACCEPT ALL local commercial insurance plans (AETNA, HORIZON, CIGNA, etc) and Medicare. Please call us at 1-609-584-9200, to check on your individual plan - our staff is happy to answer your insurance questions. The majority of our patients find relief after their first THOROUGH visit (2nd appointments are sometimes not needed, but when needed are often a final, wrap-up visit). Our goal is to make you self sufficient in managing or fixing your condition by giving you a detailed, flexible treatment plan (which is thoroughly explained at the visit). The difference with our practice is that we utilize natural, complementary treatments to the fullest, and then consider standard pharmaceuticals ONLY if needed (and for as short a time as possible). Best wishes.

I am told the Dr. Speacalizes in CIU. Is this correct?

Absolutely. Chronic Idiopathic Urticaria (CIU) is a common and frustrating condition where patients can be left on multiple medicines for months (or years) without achieving a lasting cure. A lot of doctors do not recognize that skin inflammation is often driven by other internal inflammatory processes. Treating these others (such as gut inflammation among many others) leads to a more complete and lasting improvement. The difference between poor control with frequent flares and perfect control with eventual cure IS addressing these related factors. Our average patient is on CIU treatments (usually a combination of natural and pharmaceuticals) for around 2-3 months (or less) after which the condition is usually resolved forever. In a minority, it can recur months or years later but they can then use our detailed treatment plan again almost always with repeated total success. We often do not need to see them again as they know what to do - but this is up to them. Best Wishes.
