We were suppose to stay for a week at this hotel but we ended up only staying one night. That night there we found bedbugs, the door wouldn’t shut properly, the safety latch was broken, and it had a horrible moldy smell in our first room. We were moved to a different room where the towels were dirty and that same musty smell was there too. The pictures they advertise are nothing like what it’s actually like and I wouldn't recommend anyone stay here not even for a night. It seems like a common thing that they have bedbugs because the lady who switched our rooms didn’t even seem surprised and didn’t even show a bit of sympathy about the situation. Every other employee is very friendly and helpful. That’s the only positive.

Pets are free and price is decent. Rooms are nasty, no cleaning service during your stay so have clean your own room, tell you to put trash outside your door but it just sits there, room key almost NEVER works, and they will come up with any reason to keep your 100 cash deposit. Stay at your own risk

Positive: Staff are friendly Negative: Walked in and saw a roach sitting on the table. But it was the only one I saw on a 3 day visit. And the desk wasn't wiped down very well it was sticky from some kind of Red soda but I wipe everything down normally anyway so it works out

This place is VERY SHADY!!!! They lied and said my step dad trashed his hotel room which is a total lie! They never charged his card for any liability! Funny thing is when they ask him for a $100 CASH deposit, why would a business need CASH deposit, that's when the lady that is working tonight said that he trashed his room! My step dad WILL NEVER trash a hotel he leave it the way he found it! I will be connecting corporate, BBB, and whoever else I gotta contact to handle this shady business because it is inconvenient for my step dad who gets up @5am to work and it is 8pm at night and now he gotten drive 40 mins AWAY from his job to get a hotel room! I think the hickory area is shady because I read other reviews for another hotel that was doing $250 CASH deposit! BE CAREFULLY BOOKING IN HICKORY AREA READ THE REVIEWS!
