The staff here is absolutely amazing! I sat down at the bar and the bartender (Josh) immediately greeted me and had recommendations ready just incase it was my first time visiting. The chef (Tyler) was so personable and energetic. I would definitely recommend this place for not only the food and drink, but the amazing staff. Will be back.

show was about a 7. food was super soy sauce laden. all the meat tasted like a salt lick. veggies first. 5 minutes later rice. 7 minutes later strip steak. around horn. 20 mins later chicken. ive been to better places where show and food was worth the price.

I ordered a filet combo, the chef (Alex I believe) accidentally gave a guy at my table medium rare strip steak instead of the well done he had asked for and whatever thought process was going on, he took half of my filet and gave it to him to fix it and went and got me a strip steak to replace my filet portion he gave the guy. When I said "wait, why" he said I was going to get a free steak to fix it. Initially I thought the additional strip was for the gentleman and a filet replacement would come after, but that wasn't the case. I don't understand why he thought giving me a cheaper cut would "fix it" and why giving the other guy filet would also fix his well done mistake, when I had asked for my filet medium rare anyway. If he replaced the filet with a filet, it wouldn't be an issue but replacing it with a lower quality, cheaper cut that was SO dry and tough to eat makes no sense. It was terrible and I was done with my meal once he dumped cheap rubber that I didn't ask for onto my plate. So I got about 6 pieces of my actual order but only ate 2 once he dumped cheap strip all over it. Our server was understanding and didn't get why the chef did that either and comped our bill. That was our first time at Genji; Kobe and Osaka are better in food quality, entertainment, and common sense.

Yes
I believe so but you could always call up there and all I'm sure they would tell you
Each table is a half circle that seats around 7 or so people with the cooking surface in the middle. A chef comes to the table to cook the orders and entertain the guests at the table. The chef starts out with a brief flame on the cooking surface that flares nearly to the ceiling. The chef cracks jokes while cooking and may toss shrimp for guests to try to catch in their mouths. Small parties may be seated together to fill a table. I don't have recent info on pricing but plan on $25-$30 per person as far as I know.
Both and it's best to make reservations, unless you don't mind sitting at the bar until a table is ready.
Do not know how long it's been there, does it matter?....the food is good.....and let them try and toss the shrimp in your mouth, that's the funniest part....hell my 82 year old mother-in-law tried it and she had a blast!!!..We were just there a few weeks ago.
Yeah i would get a reservation
The offer you a start of with soup and salad. You then get your choice of shrimp, chicken or beef. The food is outstanding and the atmosphere is great!!!!
