The gentleman pictured was no help, if I heard the other employee correctly he was supposed to be helping with self check out or normal check out but instead he was on his phone or chatting with other workers. He did not have a name tag on and didn’t acknowledge me at anytime. At one point I did need help, but I didn’t receive any. I am not impressed with this Hy-Vee, isn’t it supposed to be a helpful smile in every aisle? I rarely get help or smiles at this location. But I will say, they don’t force self checkout on everyone and that’s really nice, which is why I gave it three stars.

I thought that the Hy-Vee in Carroll would be the same as the one in Fort Dodge that is simply not the case I’ve been working all day and on the road I stopped to eat on my way home I ordered hot wings didn’t take them long to get to me that when they got to me the first wing I’ve been into I chip my tooth because it was so hard it was absolutely atrocious and I’m glad that it was only six dollars which is half price from the original price for the little amount of food that they give you and the quality of the food is trash I couldn’t even finish it and I never leave food on my plate because I know there are people starving all around the world
