I am a student at UNL and just moved into 8N Lofts within the past year and it has been an amazing experience so far! I lived in the dorms last year and the difference between the two is crazy. Unlike the dorms, I have had great interactions with many of the current residents and the atmosphere is very friendly. The lobby, sky deck, and courtyard are perfect places to hang out with friends and have been in use almost every single night. And the Haymarket is a very short walk away, giving my friends and I so much more to do in the afternoon than what was available by the dorms. As well, the price of living here is so much cheaper than the dorms! Overall, 8N Lofts has been a great living experience and would definitely refer them to anyone who is looking for a decently priced place within walking distance of campus.

STAY CLEAR!!!! Especially young women, this place is not safe. They fail to maintain their security protocols, doors are locked all hours of the night. Side doors that are supposed to be secure never are, parking is several blocks away. This is not a safe environment for young women. Not only that, you could almost argue the the leasing practices are predatory. What a rip off. They seem nice, convenient, and great amenities at first glance. But do your due diligence before signing a lease agreement here. Parents, DO NOT let your college kids live here.

8|N Lofts has fire sprinklers, plus electronic locks and individually locking bedroom doors. Community courtesy patrols are provided at select times. Management staff are also on-site 24×7 and can be reached by a 24-hour phone number.
8|N Lofts is a no-pets community. The community is smoke-free in all indoor and adjacent areas. Guests are welcome at all times, subject to the consent of roommates and security considerations. Overnight guests are welcome, with limits on the number of days and guests.
Each resident at 8|N Lofts pays a monthly rental installment with a flat utility/amenity fee that includes: Furnishings Wi-Fi Internet Electricity Water/sewer, trash removal On-site management Community features – fitness center, lounges, etc.
