Had a great 1st experience here. Dr. Backes answered every question and then some. He gave great suggestions and made me very comfortable. I was on the cancelation list to try for a sooner appointment and Jessica reached out several times to accommodate me. Now, time to "Watch the birdie!" 😎

My experience with Dr Backes has been the best that I have had in a long time. He explains a disease process in terms that one can understands. He uses analogies to describe the issue at hand and provides solutions to said problem. He is patient, compassionate, and provides his expert service with a touch of humor! Thanks to him, I can see better!

You wouldn’t think a Walmart would have such amazing eye care. In this case it’s all about the doctor. This doc could have his own expensive practice but instead chooses to humbly serve people who turn to Walmart for eye care because often that’s the only affordable option. Highly recommend.

Every time I have visited this location the staff was very friendly and helpful. The doc is great and the staff even helped me pick out glasses and informed me I am a petite size in glasses, always wondered why womens glasses always felt too big. I only go to this location now. You won't find the service they provide elsewhere.
