We checked out this place because of the great reviews. It did not disappoint. The fried flounder came in thick filets with light seasoned coating, fried to perfection. The fish and chips were equally delicious. Their house made Ranch Chips are crispy, crunchy and perfectly seasoned. Portions are ample, the service was great and the owner checked on our satisfaction personally. It's a sports bar and grill so TVs are everywhere if you are interested in any games but they are not kept on overly loud. We will definitely go back on our next trip to Surf City.
