This place was amazing. It was like sitting down at your momma's house on Sunday after church. The food was so good and everybody that was working was friendly and you just felt like family. I will definitely be back.

Top 2 soul food restaurant in the country (probably best but ive only been 3x). Frfr. Super clean and food was super fresh. I travel for a living, 20 years in and I have only found one place in FL whose food is as good. Their wait is always 45 mins even mid week. But THIS location has a whole depth of menu, seafood, okra and chitlins. No wait. So affordable. I volunteered to work here just to get meals to go lol. A box each of okra Baked chicken and cabbage. Who sells chitlins and the place still smells so normal lol?!? Spoke w a lot of locals and they are mad the desserts have changed but nobody so far disputes this place is tops. Fried chicken and gizzards are is to die for. Baked chicken is the best. And I hate baked chicken bc it's always dry. Everywhere except here. I digress. I love this place. Tastes like they're holding somebody's grandmas hostage in the kitchen. Lord, PLEASE don't let them change. I flew from Chicago for this . Lol. Whew.
