Great little artsy theater, but the screens are small compared to most.

This film theatre seems to be run by movie lovers. I've watched 'The Duke' here on my birthday and it was a most pleasant experience. They even have ginger ale on tap! The screening room was clean and well-kept, with comfy seating and the sound system well-calibrated. Bathroom was clean, too. And its all run non-profit. If you are a movie buff visiting the area, this is your place to check for current Arthaus fare. Five stars!

My wife and I went to a weekend special Cinema where Gus Molasses was showing Charlie Chaplin's masterpiece City Lights! Best decision we made all weekend:-) honest to goodness if the whole world could see this movie, I assure you the world would be a better place!

5 stars with some caveats....more of an “Art House” cinema, and it’s definitely an older theater, you don’t get the great comfortable seats, some awkward sight lines, but the sound is good. Beer and wine available, reasonable ticket prices, esp. if you are a member. Lovely part of town, parking might require some luck and timing. I’m just a fan of their overall “concept” or “mission”, so that makes me a happy member!

Call the theater.
Prices went up a couple months ago and admission is now $6 for members, $9 for non-members I believe. Membership is $30 a year for individuals or $50 for dual memberships. With membership, you get one free movie ticket and one free popcorn with free refills always. You also get member appreciation day when you can see as many movies as you can get to for free that day. Parking can be tricky but there is a free parking lot two blocks north of the theater.
Call and find out
Go on-line. It's easy!
Scheduled to show 7/19. For upcoming movies visit www.filmsociety.org
Don't know try calling the theater
Check the web page and join their club. Well worth it.
$9 earlier this week.
No - We sell other items, Pistachios, Almonds, Sargento Balanced Breaks, no skinny pop corn.
I do not think so. But we have never been unable to get tickets at the theater. We would advise parking in the lot on Orange Street just across the way from Burns Court. Parking on the street can sometimes be s problem.
Why don't you call the cinema and ask them that question? I never heard of Bodied but you probably won't find Boy Erased at many mainstream theaters.
Don't know, call them?
Yup
It starts at 7pm with a 1-hour VIP reception.
You dont have to be a member to purchase tickets. Callthe theater for more info
I would say yes, but it's always better to call them :)
Im struggling to find the place to buy tickets in advance online? Any suggestions?
Best to check on line
