Dr. Satterwhite and everyone at Atlantic Foot Specialists are SO nice. Everyone makes you feel welcome and you are NOT rushed which I really appreciate. I was VERY nervous about getting a cortisone shot in the bottom of my foot but Dr. Satterwhite explained everything while he was doing the procedure and made it as comfortable as a shot could be! Afterwards he made sure to answer any questions and concerns I had. I am so happy I found this place.

Our son Jake was home on leave from Kadena AFB in Japan for two weeks recently. He arrived with a pretty serious ingrown toe nail. I took him to the local urgent care. They couldn't do anything for him and recommended that they refer him to a podiatrist. They explained that this might take two weeks. We left there and went directly to Atlantic Foot Specialists in Shallotte. The receptionist was very kind and explained that the doctor would not be in Shallotte, however, he was at the Southport office that day. She scheduled us for an appointment later that morning. We arrived and the staff was fantastic. Dr. Satterwhite, thanked Jake for his service, explained the different options and walked him through the treatment he felt was best. He talked Jake through the entire procedure and provided a painless resolution. We can't thank Dr. Satterwhite and his staff enough for their kindness and attention. We appreciate all of you for providing this splendid Airman a pain free leave with his family and friends. Dr. Satterwhite and his staff were nothing short of fantastic. I went to him because I was suffering from Plantar Fasciitis. After two needles in my foot, the pain was lessened, but still sore when I walked. Dr. Satterwhite suggested I try Physical Therapy and between the shots and PT, I can walk again pain free. If you are suffering from foot pain, I highly recommend you make an appointment with Dr. Satterwhite........I think you will be very happy you did!!
