I have a new mini dachshund puppy (Lucy). The Vet Techs (Shaun & Adriana) & Dr. Schmitt were absolutely wonderful explaining everything to me (what vaccines when, what to expect post vaccines, best puppy food, recommendations for obedience trainers etc). I could tell Lucy was very comfortable with them. I highly recommend Austin Veterinary to anyone.

The staff at AVAH are always upbeat, positive & caring about our pups. One of our pups had extensive cancer surgery. After a couple of weeks we went back every 3 days to get Hannah’s leg cleaned & wrapped again, after a few times they showed me the wrapping process & we did this at home. They followed up with phone calls to check on our pup. Our trip to AVAH recently was for their boarding vaccinations. After an overall look at Hannah’s cancer areas, an X-ray was taken & revealed a nodule had grown a bit in size. Doctor Austin immediately put a POA in place. She called to update me, that all X-ray & information had been sent to NCSU Vet School. Doc. A. Has contacted the oncology department & now we shall wait for our next move. Thanks to you & your entire team for making our visits mostly pain free. Thanks again, Hannah & Scout🐶🐶

This was my first experience with Austin Veterinary clinic!...I must say.. They are great! They care about my fur baby..and are very explanatory!.. I will continue to take my critters to see them !
