When calling the IL VA Office in Springfield, Illinois for information, the recording forces you to leave a voice message rather than speaking with a LIVE person to assist veterans. This is totally unacceptable and to blame COVID is not an excuse for answering a telephone inquiry. Is someone in the office? Can I stop by to drop off important VA related documents? This process needs corrected FAST by management. I would rate lower than one star if I could! This is not how veterans should be treated.

Since he's a veteran, he can request an appointment be scheduled. They will most likely send him to Peoria VA.
