Being a CA transplant, I have been on the search for fresher, healthier eating options for a long time in the land of fried, heavy food. I had read about this restaurant earlier and happened upon it while driving through Whiteville on Sunday and decided to try it. What an absolute breath of fresh air! It was hard to decide what to order - it all sounded so good! The fresh quality, preparation, presentation and taste superb! Only downside, and it may have been a busier day than usual, was that the food was barely warm when it arrived. But that is not going to stop me from returning and trying their lunch and dinner menu. Thank you to The Chef and the Frog for giving me what I've been missing so very much!

Haven't had escargot this good since my last visit to Paris. Everything was top notch, from food to service, atmosphere to access! They were happy to accommodate a gluten restriction for one family member, and worked amazingly well with the children, large and small! French onion soup was amazing, as were all the entrees. Although a little bit on the pricier side of things, it's worth every penny! Will be back again for sure! They do have more budget friendly options on the menu, that's just not what we ordered! Loved it all! Merci beaucoup!
