I was recommended this practice by a friend. I had a difficult time getting in with a therapist, but finally got in with Christina, who was wonderful. After meeting with her regularly for a few months I was then informed that she was actual a student, and would not be seeing clients over the summer. I was told there would be an interim therapist that would see me until then. The receptionist (who I think is also the office manager?) told me they would call me once they were able to place me with someone. A couple weeks went by and I had heard nothing so I called. I explained the situation and said that I had no yet heard from them. The receptionist says “that’s because we don’t have anyone for you to see”. It was quite rude, and a bit discouraging. It was a big step for me to start therapy, and even bigger that I felt like I had built a rapport with Christina. Well it’s now the end of September and there’s been no attempt from them to contact me. Thank goodness that I wasn’t on the verge of a crisis, because this practice clearly doesn’t care about anyone. For anyone reading this, there’s much better alternative offices to find a therapist with, likely with better customer service and concern for their patients.

KNEE-JERK REACTION, THE FACILITY. "I wish I read the reviews. THIS IS a 1 star review marked to 4 for visibility" -me This place heavily leans to a specific temperament of politics and it shows with the policies drafted and the way patients who disagree are treated. For starters, red flag number one; "the waiting room is closed due to a recent spike in COVID cases." This closure of waiting room occured during the 12th of July 2022 during a heatwave while gas was near 5$ and persists till this day if it has not changed. The notice proclaimed the quoted text and was curiously absent of citation of the stat. Red flag number two; I investigated the notice with real time data from the CDC and saw that cases were dropping. (Stated dates to September) Red flag number three; when confronted very gently regarding this discrepancy I was told that's just the way things were ECT. You know typical my boss said that's the way it's gotta be I just work the front desk ECT. Where things got bad: following my questioning of the policy and gentle confrontation on the matter (I never raised my voice, I left when asked to, I only wanted an answer as to why the data and the statement on the door did not share the same data points.*) I was confronted very firmly by the therapist I had there, the whole appointment turned into a conversation about that when I much would have rather discussed the personal problems that had brought me there to begin with. This came off as a very "my boss told me to" confrontation. Bare details to maintain some privacy: I can tell you my appointments there stopped about two weeks later of no accord of my own. I was told I needed a specific treatment they did not offer which at the time I was under the care of providers here they offered. *Upon pointing this fact out to the facility via email, it was changed to reflect the proper credentials the facility has. I requested my records from the facility and found many discrepancies from my own personal notes of appointments, factually untrue statments, misspellings, incorrect time tables, and a sense of painting the waiting room situation in a light that it did not shine in to begin with. (Allow to clarify, I am not a professional, but I do maintain notes from previous providers, and the quality of these notes/accuracy, Not even close in comparison) Overall, I am pretty disappointed with this facility. If you are a Tricare beneficiary and recieve a ref to this clinic, please. Call to switch it. These people will not work with you if you show even a modicum of agency, and autonomy surrounding forming an opinion, or judgment that does not agree with the "current thing"(you know exactly what I mean) If for whatever reason you do decide to go here, do not release records to anyone but yourself. YOU MUST READ THEM FIRST. The records I've received here following my disagreement have painted a person I can't even pretend to be. You will get labeled, there will be no recourse or asking the providers to clarify something that must be taken to a test first prior to printing it to ink. It's abhorrent behavior that I truly hope the facility reflects on starting with top brass there. Everything felt like it came down from a highly authoritarian figure. I blame no one but the top in regards to this facilities failure to a patient. If there was a time to put down the social media and crack open some text books to supplement your craft it's now. I had stated many times I was willing to work with the facility and had even reached an agreement with them. But alas, that's where my reference to a figure who may not be willing to see simple dialog Heart to heart, feel free to reach out to me, you have my details. Yes I've said some hard things to read, but I've spoken fairly and objectively. *heart to heart counseling had on serveral websites they offered a therapy model of "DBT" dilatic behavioral therapy. *When I spoke to the facility manager, I was told it was for another rampant disease that the CDC has not placed any guidelines for. I will ommit the name. Pic unrelated

Dr. Whitehead is amazing! Was able to move the appointment up sooner, received results in a timely manner and all around professional!

me personally, coming from a young adult i like that the place isn’t really like a doctors office and that it’s homey and comfortable. i’ve been working with my therapist for a few months now and they’ve really help me reorganize my thoughts and learn how to ground myself when my anxiety spikes or during panic attacks. i definitely recommend this place to any teens or younger adults :)
