Hi Jim, There's a 50/50 chance he ones that you left underground will come back. Maybe add a bit of extra insulation in the form of mulch or soil, something a bit weightier than straw. The black elephant ears (or dark leafed variety) do not form a tuber. Perhaps that was what you had? Call Rick on his cell for more information on how to overwinter (567-5893) your 'tuber-less' plant. Trudy

Hi Carol and sorry for the tardy response. We do not have a crew that landscapes but we do help with plans and plant selection. Wilson’s Landscaping does big jobs and my neighbor Crystal Zehner takes on smaller sized jobs.
