3 stars because of the wait time. I work in health care and my office strives on getting patients back before their appt time. I had a 11:00 appt today. I arrived around 10:40 for new patient paperwork and was done with that by 10:50. It was 11:17 before I was called back. No it’s not a huge wait time, but if I schedule an 11:00 appt, it’s because I expect to be called back by 11, no more than 11:05 (offices where emergencies happen, I’m a little more lenient to). I saw Amanda, she come in quickly and was informative and was out quickly. The office was clean, the staff was friendly. I’d left more stars had it not been for the wait time. (My office strives to get patients back early and acknowledges and talks with the patient if we are more than 5 min behind)

I am thankful that they were able to work me in...however: The doctor was unprofessional. My 3 year old had a tick head removed. I was told that it would be a simple procedure, numb with lidocaine and a small incision. My daughter kept having to be poked with the needle with lidocaine and they attempted to stitch her before she was numb. She kept wiggling a lot as well. I asked the doctor if she was almost finished and she said that she was trying. My daugher was screaming that it hurt and to please stop, let me go mommy. The doctor stated, "Well we worked you in". I am not sure what that had to do with issues suturing my daughter's head or my daughter's discomfort. When the doctor was finished she walked out of the room without an apology or even explaining aftercare. The other medical staff explained everything to me and she was kind. I do not recommend this clinic for pediatric patients. If the procedure is expected to be painful then they should have given my daughter pain medicine. They also should have given her nitrous oxide to calm her. They should not expect a 3 year old with a developmental delay to be still. They also could have called in extra staff to assist. It was traumatizing for me to have to watch her have this procedure done. I hope my daughter is not traumatized about going to the doctor.

Mohs surgery is done at the 2301 21st Avenue south location in Nashville. Clarksville office does not have the space for the equipment for the Mohs surgery.
