DCS does not care about kids or helping families. They try to keep the kids in the system to the point they go to foster parents EVEN if the actual parent fulfilled all of their duties etc. Some of these workers have severe drinking problems and their own issues yet try to play the goodie role in public.

Who watches DCS? Who holds them accountable? Clarksville DCS didn't do a 30 day home Check before the 1 St unsupervised visit to Father's home.. that very night my Granddaughters leg was broken and bruised face?? Please help..

Has she been taken the the hospital? Typically the doctors will report to DCS, especially if a person indicated there may be abuse. There is no accountability. They torment families that have no indication of abuse yet ignore cases such as this. If you want something done, you will need to file a complaint with DCS and also a police report so that the event has been documented, in case, Lord forbid, it ever does happen again, there will history of it in the system. Also, the child's school is likely to help, especially if in Montgomery County. I would contact the principal and child's teacher as well.

Is it ok to make a 5 year old sit on her bed all day and face the wall only to get up to eat and go to bathroom? My ex grandson in law used this as punishment because she pushed her step brother who is also 5.

Legally speaking it is, tho, this punishment doesn't really teach a 5 year old.

I am going to Purdue University and I was wondering if I would be able to come in and see how everything is ran, possibly even see client interaction?

You would have to come to the office and get with the front desk. many of our documents are confidential so the access would be limited.
