I ordered the large tray with slaw as well as the sandwich with slaw. I don't usually enjoy slaw but this slaw was completely different than what i'm used to. It wasn't dry but it didn't have any excess liquid. The flavor was great. It paired amazingly with the pork on the sandwich. They pack the sandwich with a lot of pork too! The pork is unique from bbq I've had before but I loved it. Although it seemed to be missing the smoke flavor that I like, the pork skins inside added a nice flavor that paired perfectly with the pork. On my way out I purchased a bag of their pork skins and they're the best I've had. You wont find anything nearly as good on grocery store shelves.

The Skylight Inn has the best barbecue sandwich I have ever had. It has a unique crunchy texture throughout and did not need any additional seasoning or sauce. We had our food just as quickly as we ordered it. However, I would not recommend the corn bread. The corn bread was flat, dry, tough, and was very bland.
