I love this Target. It’s clean, well stocked, and the staff are wonderful. There was a short time a couple weeks ago where it seemed like they didn’t have any cashiers. I’d visit and only one cashier would be open or only self check-out. I don’t necessarily blame this location for that as I know staffing shortages are a countrywide problem at the moment. As of recent, they have been extremely well staffed with plenty of lines open and the staff there are always very accommodating and kind. The customer service desk staff are always helpful and prompt with pickup orders and questions. When I first moved back to the states after being abroad for many years, the employee at the front desk was so patient in explaining to me how to use the Target circle app even though the store was closing for the evening. Also, the man with dark hair and glasses always goes the extra mile. The nice older woman with the curly hair who often works stocking the dollar spot section is an absolute gem. She always takes the extra time to always ask customers if they are looking for anything in particular and asks “can I help you find anything today?” to just about every person who walks into the area. She helped me dig for a specific item on one occasion and knew exactly how many were left and where I might find one if someone had chucked it out of their cart while shopping. I am always happy to see her when I come into the store. Lastly, I was there yesterday and some teenagers were being really obnoxious. Kids will be kids and I have ones of my own, but this was a pack of five to six teenage boys who were being reckless. They were making TikTok videos, saying f&$@ and other words loudly and frequently, jumping in and out of carts, running down aisles, and at one point one of the teenagers bumped hard into a pregnant woman’s cart. She looked visibly emotional and left the area quickly. The boys shower zero remorse and laughed it off. I went to find an associate and while I didn’t get his name (I’m quite bad with names), he addressed the situation promptly. He was working stocking the home goods area and he went over the the pharmacy/stationary/kitchenware area and firmly but professionally told the boys they needed to cut it out entirely or leave the store immediately. The boys were immediately shook that someone had said something to them (clearly not enough people do), stopped the behavior, and dispersed. I sought him out to thank him and learned he had two younger kiddos of his own. This was on 9/22 between 12-1pm and I was very grateful for the way he handled it. Overall, there are a lot of great employees in this store and it seems like they really band together to get the job done even amidst staffing shortages. To sum up a long review, going to the store these days is a tasker I’d rather outsource to Instacart or a delivery service. Customer service has gone downhill across the industry and socially and economically we are all still adjusting post-pandemic in different ways (most we don’t recognize). I shop on Amazon daily and I’d need a stiff drink before stepping into the hot messery that is Walmart, not to mention a hand sanitizer bath. However, this Target is doing it right in creating an environment where customers actually want to physically step into it. As a solo parent, business owner, and full time student, I go to Starbucks to grab a coffee and roam around to decompress every now and then. As insignificant as that may sound, there isn’t another store that’s making me want to do that. I’m grateful that even with this being a big chain store, it’s still hitting all the marks for good customer service, cleanliness, and accountability. P.S: also, the Target Circle app is perfection. Between having all my receipts in one area, being able to check my local store for items, arrange for delivery/pick up, scroll deals/coupons without having to filter through marketing emails, being able to check out with the app so I don’t have to even bring my wallet inside, and so much more, this is the standard.

I made an online order for pickup that they never filled so I canceled the order. The store however, has decided to charge my target card any way and multiple transfers will not get any answers or get it fixed.

First time using the pickup service and was highly impressed. Was able to change from in-store pickup to drive up right from the app and the experience was amazing. Hardly any wait time after parking and the associate was very polite and friendly. Will definitely use this service again!
