I went in in excruciating pain I'm someone who's afraid of going to the hospital so when I tell you I was hurting so bad or I would not have gone i mean it. they acted like I was lying and said my heart rate was too high for human which isn't true in my family but long story short they then lied to me hooked me up to an EKG instead of giving me anything to help or letting a doctor check out my arm that I hurt like I asked and i thank the Lord Jesus for being with me or I might not have made it because they made me so upset treating me like they did I couldn't stay there and left I don't recommend this hospital to anybody it used to be really great when I was younger and was in a car accident but the way they treated me this time no one should be treated like that God please fix it

I had no experience with the ER except when the DR called to gut punch me with the news that my sister has terminal cancer, he really needs to work on his bedside manner!!!! My sister was admitted and I arrived the next day. I cannot say enough GOOD about the care she got for the 5 days she was in the hospital, we did not encounter one person that did not go out of their way to help us. They were all patient and caring.

The American Heart Association states that a BP reading of 180/110 or greater requires immediate medical attention. The ER Physician Assistant I saw told me unless I am having organ failure/s they will do nothing to lower my 194 over 116 BP that I was been seen for. I was only given a bill and told to leave.

Brought my 2 year old in yesterday with covid, spiked temp and throwing up. Waited in the waiting room for 6 hours. Took them 2 to give her any fever reducer. Nobody offered water or fluids. At one point a nurse came by and asked if they had forgotten about us. When we finally were seen the nurse, Todd I believe, was super rude. We ended up leaving with no results, no treatment, no anything. One nurse named Stephanie was great, and everyone else from start to finish was rude.

Very highly!! I have worked there as nurse for over 20 years and find it to be compassionate and safe environment for patients and staff. I absolutely love my job and where I work!! Carteret Health Care has high ratings in many area and continually strives to improve. All of my family, including myself, have been a patient there and treated very well. Integrity and honesty and are very key to there high success ratings!!!
The cafeteria closes at 6:30pm.
Mr. Youngblood, The construction you are seeing on the Bridges Street side of the hospital is to expand our operating services. The construction company is staged across the street in Medical Park as they work on the OR here on the main hospital campus. The project is about 20% complete with anticipation it will open in 2024. Thank you. Michelle Lee
The phone lines were being worked in, switching over to another system, that's what was said to me...
Mr. Doss, I am sorry you are having dental issues. You should reach out to a local dentist for dental care. I hope you feel better soon.
You can, but if it's an emergency, which is a life or death situation, call 911 or go directly to the emergency room.
If you are vomiting up blood you def need to go in. Either ambulance or call a cab or Uber service. You don't want to not get care needed just because you don't have a vehicle Hun!
No. They offer hospice services in a large patient room , but there is no hospice unit.
Should be able to call 4996000 and enter the 5 digit room number (the floor number + 4 digit room number) -- (for 3601 on floor 3, dial 33601)
Not familiar with ICU. Had been on PCU twice & had the best care!
?? I don't have that answer I guess call hospital and they'll transfer
No, it's free standing on Bridges St.
The Joint and Spine Center does robotic-assisted knee replacement surgeries.
They should but I don't think they do but I could be wrong
2:1 ICU, Progressive Care 5:1, Med-Surg 4-6:1 These are ideally the ratios, however Patient census can fluctuate with season and patient to nurse ratio can fluctuate as with any health care facility. Regardless, the nursing staff works as a team and during slower times nursing staff will float and assist other nurses with procedures and passing meds. I love these gals and guys and have not had a bad experience.
Please let your care team in the Emergency Department know and they will assist you with transportation.
Don't know sure they do
You really don't have to see a diabetic dr, I am one as well I see my family Dr and a nutritionist as well, really works for me
