I was so nervous taking my cat to any vet in Blacksburg as most don’t have good reviews but this one did and I can see why. I’m a newish pet owner and so when I took my cat in for for his yearly shots they were welcoming and very helpful even over the phone when I was inquiring. I had never given my cat pills before so I was nervous about having to do it alone but they got someone to help. I would definitely recommend them to anyone with a pet.

The vets are wonderful and treat your pet well. They are pretty expensive so just be aware of that before taking your pet there.

Dr. Jo was amazing with my big fur baby. I couldn't get an appointment with our regular vet until next week. I called them and they welcome us with open arms. She was so good with Zeus as he is not the best behaved giant dog. I highly recommend Dr. Jo. Zeus and I will definitely return.

Oreo has been a patient with Companion Animal clinic since 2019. He has made quite the journey with no poke visits, and gentle examinations. Dr.Beckner and Rista are the absolute best! Rista guided Oreo through his no- poke visits and gave him a new confidence, as well as a friendly face he looks forward to seeing! Dr.Beckner has always provided professional service that puts my nervous boy at ease, and she is very thorough and really listens to your concerns. Of course, we have to mention all of the wonderful staff that are so loving towards Oreo both at the front and in the boarding area. We are always able to get an appointment, and they always pick up the phone when I call to check on him! I recommend Companion Animal clinic to everyone I know! This is the place to go if your dog, cat, etc. are nervous at the vet.
