I’ve been on the list for years and I can remember one time that they communicated I had an interview for a property. After that the only correspondence I’ve ever gotten is “you missed your ‘scheduled’ interview you’re off the list. This has been going on for FIVE YEARS! Screw you MHA

Our company does an independent audit of the housing authority. I can say they are a well run organization that does their best to serve the Missoula community and to follow federal guidelines in the way they spend the money received. The Housing Authority does not have unlimited resources so you may have to wait for a period before you receive a voucher (can choose where to live and they subsidize your rent) but they do have subsidized units you can generally get in quicker.

In Silvertip and Wildflower as pets. With a Reasonable Accommodation for Disability in all.
Our receptionist forwarded your email to me. I understand you are inquiring as to how one applies for staff positions at MHA. When a staff position becomes available, I advertise with the Missoulian, Job Service, Indeed and Zip Recruiter, as well as advertising on our website and social media pages. We currently do not have a position available, but as you noted, we will be staffing up between now and the close of 2023. As positions become available, if you feel you are qualified, you should apply. Thanks for your interest in the Missoula Housing Authority!
to apply, enter Missoula.House in your browser. No need for www or anything, just Missoula.House
Go to Miisoula.house and apply online or call Shanda at extension 113
No its not they work with alot of people
Sorry I didn't have my phone with me. It's 30% in most cases.
There is a website, you should have paperwork on it... if you do not keep up with the periodical forms you will not stay on the list
That's discrimination according to the fair housing act. You should get a lawyer
Basically just being below the poverty line. Having children and/or being homeless helps your chances of moving up faster. Especially if you/your children suffer from a disability. Are you looking for section 8 housing, motel voucher, women's shelter?
You need to call them and ask to speak to Cody the head director of the place or you can listen to the prompts and it will give you a number to push to see where you are on the list. I believe they also have a website you can log on to to change around your address, phone number, listings, etc. Hope you get it figured out!
