I think for an emergency for pets they are slow at getting your pets seen. Had to wait outside, not exactly sure why! Then I think they could be much more thorough and they are extremely expensive fir being the ONLY emergency vet in the area

My dog broke her leg yesterday evening. Drove all the way to “Flathead Pet Emergency” and parked next to their “Now Open” sign only to be told they only had “technicians” on hand and could not treat our dog because they don’t have an actual Veterinarian right now. I recommend calling first before wasting precious time or perhaps scheduling your pets next emergency in advance.

Most animals in this area are dealing with allergies, COVID, and smoke inhalation. I pray that one of your most experienced on the staff thinks about opening a DOG CITY. Dog city is based out of Colorado, and this area needs a place like this entirely too bad. They have on call veterinary services around the clock, and the animals (expecially helpful with service animals whom may not do well with multiple vaccines like the average house kept dog or cat) can have their own doggy dens. This is a must in a town with so few pet friendly options for living. Even for the humans very few healthy living situations. We all just need a little more TLC in Kalispell and Evergreen.

I had just rescued a senior cat the day before and she had an eye injury that in six hours became alarming. I took her to Flathead Pet ER and they were very busy but stayed in contact with me about when she would be seen. The staff were kind, patient, and did a fabulous job. The Doctor explained everything to me and I was given clear instructions about after care. I very much appreciate the entire staff and my fur baby is healing nicely!
