Beautiful, clean, absolutely lovely park. Michelle in the office was so kind, sweet and accommodating. We will look forward to the day we can come back.

Great place to visit, host were very friendly and campground was very nice. We got to stay in a cabin by the lake. Pool was well kept and the kids loved the mining for rocks they had. Weekend was full of activities for the kids too. This would be a 5 star but while fishing my kids got snagged on an electrical wire for the fountain to the pond. I informed a person at the front desk and was told to push it back into the water. I think more needs to be done and I'm sure it will. But with all that said, this is a great family park and the full hook-up sites are big and perfect for 5th wheels.

My niece and her children had utilized day passes to meet with her aunt and a couple other ladies for picnic and swimming, she had even been given a courtesy discount at times. The last time they went, presumably one of the owners accused her of ‘sneaking’ 30 people in and basically throwing her and her 4 children out (ages 3-12 ish), her aunt and friends could stay (but they left too). She tried to get to the bottom of the issue but they would not discuss it. First of all, she drives a Buick Encore that would never hold 30. Secondly she is one of the most honest people I know and she has no issues paying if she wanted to have 30 meet her. We don’t know if it has anything to do with the issue but her children have a mixed heritage, we have an extremely large family with ever color under the rainbow and we are proud of them all. We have stayed at this park before, but will never do so again!

For the last two summers my friends and I have enjoyed the amenities and swimming pool at Jellystone Campground. We meet weekly from different areas, with Knightstown being centrally located. We have built a rapport with the staff and thoroughly enjoyed our days there. That is, until June 29th. A staff member came to one person in our group, we’ll call her Kay, demanding Kay’s day pass fee and proceeded to accuse her of not paying that day and several other days in the past. She stated there was video surveillance of Kay joining us after their office closed to avoid paying. She added that this situation had been discussed among herself and other staff and it was not going to continue. That statement lead me to believe this confrontation was planned. We were surprised at the accusations and the abrupt way she was speaking to Kay. Of course, Kay offered to pay. She didn’t realize it was so emergent. Again, we were frequent visitors and Kay thought she had a few minutes of leeway while getting her and her kiddos settled. She was running late and bringing lunch for our group. Unfortunately the staff member wasn’t understanding and the situation quickly escalated. Kay and I asked to see the video of her not paying, staff declined. Then the staff member made yet another claim about Kay and suddenly it all made sense. This accusation was that Kay comes after hours and unloads her and 30 kids. You see, Kay’s children and niece & nephew are People Of Color(POC). A common derogatory comment about Mexican Americans is they travel with their entire (large) family in one car. So when she said the ‘her and 30 kids’ comment, I finally understood her motive. No one else in our group was verbally attacked. No one else in our group was told to leave immediately and not return. And no one else in our group has brown skin. Our party of 13 quickly gathered our picnic lunch and our swim gear. We picked up everything from the pavilion and pool area as we do each week. It probably took 20 minutes for us to pack our cars, then be on our way. As we were driving out of the campground, still processing what had just happened we noticed a police cruiser watching us. Racism is not my first thought when a situation presents itself. It honestly doesn’t occur to me, but I believe without a doubt that is what happened that afternoon at Jellystone Campground.

Yes. Especially if you are friendly to them. Engage them and you can have fun with them.
Many others there use them also.

Fishing's good! The lake is well stocked with large mouth bass, blue hill, and catfish. I've caught a lot there. You can purchase a day pass to the campground, which includes access to the lake. The Ranger Station also has fair prices on bait.
You can buy some things at the well stocked small store.
Not really paddle boat rentals are $8/hr I'm not sure about cabins someone else paid for if you camp there pool is free and fishing pond is free.
Yes they do supply life vests for adults and children. Don't remember exact price but I thought that it was reasonable.
