Weird experience here today. I get this drink each of the times I’ve come here in a new customer and don’t feel confident going in to Starbucks a straight white male. There’s only one star bucks I’ve been to where the staff made me feel welcomed. Anyways this confirmed my fears. The drink is a grande cup with ice 5 espresso shots 5 pumps of t vanilla whipe cream on top with caramel drizzle. I’ll get my drink and mix it all up in my work vehicle.kinda messy of a task. This time however after my drink I’d ordered as I’m waiting for it I spot a gentlemen that walks out from behind the counter to go spray a table down. I recognize he is a feminine bald white man so instead of talking to one of the ladies I go and approach him. I tell him about my drink to see if I can get the whip cream and caramel mixed in. Here’s my problem This guy literally took a deep breath as if I just bothered his whole world and without addressing me or my question walked straight to where they hand out the drinks where I can see a cup where they mix drinks, and then yells to me “what’s the name of the drink?” I responded, Miles. He tells a lady like so” can you shake Miles’s drink” and walk back around the counter back to spraying down a table. Never once looking at me. The lady making my drink shook up the ice and drink then exactly what I asked for they did not do which she then continued to put the whip cream and drizzle on top . I could tell she was like “ okay sure”. Not realizing what I had asked for. I got my drinks and Food left my tips tried walking past the gentleman to see if maybe he was interested to see if my drink was handled correctly( of course he showed no interest) And I had no reason more to engage in conversation with him I walked out. Hope his day gets better. I see this is one of those Starbucks not like all but one where my insecurities are confirmed. I don’t feel and probably if they could have it their way am not welcomed here. 10/1/22 around 10:00 10:30. For camera reference. Don’t get me wrong, a Starbucks is Starbucks. For some odd reason however it’s is the Prunedale location which has lids that never fit for their iced drinks. Like I thought it was a once or twice thing but it’s now happened again where I spill my drink on myself because of it. I just simply put it in the cup holder after and the lid popped off. Please get this fixed. They also made a bad sweet cream cold brew which is weird considering they all use the same recipe.
