100% would not recommend. Besides there often being an issue with their technology and as a result needing to cancel an appointment too often this doctor rushed appointments after already being late and had terrible bedside manner. My first appointment she was bickering with a receptionist which was the first red flag. If you have questions about your labs then it’s a problem. Not only was I incorrectly diagnosed, after inquiring about my levels on a lab report I was told “I do not go strictly off of labs. If that’s what you want then find another doctor” So I did just that.

Initially I felt she helped me. Extremely long waits at the office were a problem but remote visits during Covid were reasonably on time. Dr Advani lacks any semblance of bedside manner. She is completely devoid of compassion and bordering on insulting. Also trying to get my records from the office is a nightmare.

I switched to this practice 2 years ago after finding my local endocrinologist to be severely lacking. I was thrilled with the care and service I was provided from Dr. Advani (hence why I’m even giving 3 stars). However, since merging with Atlantic Health my appointment was pushed 2 times (I also had to reschedule once). So today, 4 months after my original appt and after numerous calls to confirm I had my blood work done for my visit, I drive the hour to the office and am told they don’t accept my insurance. The receptionists blamed it on the merge and that my insurance didn’t transfer into their new system so they couldn’t see what insurance I had. So for all those confirmation calls to check on my bloodwork not a single person saw that the insurance was missing? Isn’t this part of the things you check? This doesn’t fall under my responsibility especially since my insurance was accepted up until 5 months ago. The receptionist said they could still see me and I could pay for the visit. Want to know what this office charged my insurance last year for a routine visit? Over $1000. There’s absolutely no way I could afford this. Too bad because I really liked Dr. Advani but this just was a huge waste of my time due to the office’s negligence and now I’ll never go back.

I have been going to Dr. Advani for years and I could not be happier with her. My A1c is the lowest it’s ever been thanks to her and I feel great. She will show you tough love but it’s only because she cares and wants to see your health improve and I appreciate her for that.
