A great message but not welcoming at all. I came the first time to the 9am service I was about 15 mins late no one greeted me and when I walked in the auditorium I had to seat myself. The second time I came to the 10:30 service I was greeted at the beginning then after the service I went to the first time guest section to get more information about the church and watched 3 volunteers of the church walk straight past me. Being that this church is 5 mins away from me I was hoping that this could be a new home church. And crazy that the message was about being aware of the people in close proximity of you... Update: The campus pastor and his team came to visit me, bought me the welcome gift and lunch. They were very receptive to my feedback and were open to hearing my story. Amazing team!

Love CrossPoint. This is a satellite church from main Nashville campus. Feel right at home, great praise and worship as well as hearing Pastor Kevin! Kids area is great also!

I visited Crosspoint in Mt Juliet a few Sundays ago & really got a positive feeling as soon as I entered. The people welcoming me were very nice, friendly, and casual! The sanctuary was inviting and the band awesome! The disappointment came when the pastor came on screen via telecast. Never have been to a live church where the pastor was not live & communicating with his congregation! I felt cheated & made to feel that the congregation at Mt Juliet church was not important enough to have a pastor. A Jr pastor should be trained to spread the word of God - at the very least. After discussing this with friends and family - they all were in agreement, stating a Pastor should feel the need and strongly want to connect with his/her congregation. Otherwise, may as well stay home & watch a sermon on television. Please change this situation quickly so that friends & myself will come back.

We moved to Hermitage six weeks ago and are in the process of looking for a home church. We visited Crosspoint in Mt. Juliet last Sunday. Let me start by saying we absolutely love the people. Exactly what we are looking for. Forty somethings mixed with young professionals. We love the contemporary atmosphere and music. I wish it had everything we are looking for, but unfortunately it is missing one key element. It is missing a local Pastor. How odd it was once the sermon started for the Pastor to be telecasted from the headquartered pulpit in Nashville. What made it stranger was when he said “with all eyes closed and all heads bowed raise your hands.” Raise your hands for what? He isn’t there to see who raises their hands. Why wouldn’t an assistant Pastor be ordained to lead and preach to the local congregation? Very odd and very disappointing. We really had high hopes this would be our church. Because we like it so much we will occasionally visit hoping this changes.
