Lots of space for the dogs to run around in. Met a lot of very nice people there. Volunteers keep the park picked up pretty well from the lazy people who don't bother to pick up they're dogs poop. They do supply doggie poop bags for both small and big dog parks and a wast disposal trash can for each side as well. There is also fresh drinking water on both sides. One of the things that bothers me is, occasionally people do bring food into the park which distracts the dogs, sometimes even leaving their trash behind which can be potentially dangerous for the dogs. My only other complaint would be people who keep bringing their aggressive dogs to the park without regard for other people or other dogs.

Well you have to start off by realizing this is Ridgecrest! It's on us-395 somewhere between nowhere and somewhere. But it is a long way to any other dog parks so it is nice to have this break if you're heading up 395. The park is well fenced there are a lot of big shade trees the only real concern I would warn you about is that it doesn't appear in Ridgecrest that you were required to pick up your dog's poop if it's anywhere near a fence. So the perimeter of the park is lined with biological landmines. But it has grass, and it is in the middle of nowhere. So this part is definitely a 4 or a little above star

Friendly people, so far. Lots of space for the dogs to play. Small and large dog areas. There seems to be a place to put out water, but there are no fountains to fill a bowl. Plenty of potty bags...some folks don't know how to use them though, so watch out for random poop-piles.

Questions & Answers

Who can I contact about the holes that are dug by other dogs to be filled? I don't want anyone to get hurt by accidently stepping in one.
