We just left Bootleggers in Wolfeboro NH. What an amazing experience. I came up from CT for my nieces baby shower and inadvertently forgot my sandals. I ran into the shop to see if I could get a pair to go with my dress. The girl who waited on us, get ready, her name was “Heaven” and she was just that. She was by far the most conscientious salesperson I have ever encountered. Oh!and by the way I got 2 pairs of sandals. Thanks so much Heaven, I will be back.

They were able to order in work shoes from another location so I can pick them up later in the week without having to drive all over the place. Always friendly and knowledgeable.

I purchased two pairs of athletic shoes there this week. I was drawn into the store by the sign that said "Sneakers, 20% off". I learned when my mother-in-law asked, that athletic shoes are not sneakers, and therefore were not on sale. I felt this was deceptive and unethical. While I'm sure it is legal in the Live Free or Die state it left me with a sour taste in my mouth. Help was OK, selection good, yet I felt burned. A 20% credit would make me feel better. Wolfeboro Chamber of Commerce take note.

My main place to buy shoes. They usually have sales going so one can save money. If they don't have your size or style they can order it. One drawback, it is cramped in there. And rude outsiders on weekends can get irritating. The staff are friendly and very helpful so that makes up for it.
