Always a great experience. I just wish the swap shop would open back up.

Nice enough place to get rid of what your getting rid of but located on top of a hill with almost no wind protection. Not a problem if doing normal trash or recycling but for remodels and the like check the windspeed before you go to avoid chasing stuff as it blows across the parking lot.

The town of Wolfeboro, NH solid waste facility is a well organized operation. The various windows to dispose of trash are well labeled for paper, general trash, plastic, aluminum, glass, etc. There is also a place to dispose batteries and light bulbs. In a separate area are containers for metal and construction materials as well as an area for lawn items such as grass clippings, plants, leaves etc. During the summer season there is a dirt/soil pile and a small gravel pile that is available for residents to take for their personal use.
