First, let me say the service was exceptional. No complaints on that whatsoever. They deserve a 4 star for that alone. Everyone was extremely courteous, professional, and over the top helpful. I only gave them a 4 star because I wasn't impressed with the ribs. They were extremely tender and smoked to perfection but I didn't taste not a single flake of seasoning on them. That's what disappointed me the most. I had high hopes walking up to the building because I smelled the love that went into it but I just didn't taste it. The homemade Bar-B-Q sauce is what saved the ribs. We also had mac and cheese, and baked beans. The mac and cheese was generic (box variety), and the baked beans were bitter. We only had the ribs as an entree, so I am not certain about the other meats but the ribs just didn't cut it for me. To be fair, I am from Southern Alabama. Our meat has hypertension with a smige of diabetes in the sauce sooooo lol. I encourage everyone to form thier own opinion though because each palate is different. Edit: To the owner: Thank you for your response to my review. I am more than willing to try your food again. I don't often visit places twice after an indifferent experience, but I wholeheartedly believe that you have more to offer. I can see why your staff is beyond wonderful, your positive attitude seems to be infectious. Again, thank you and I will be back.

This is the best BBQ in all of Nashville and all of TN. I will continue to think so until proven wrong. The place always smells like beautiful delicious smoked meat. You cannot go wrong with any of their selection the brisket, the ribs, the pork it all falls apart and is delicious, juicy, tender, and moist. They have several different sauces to choose from. The sauces and meat are all naturally gluten free. You can also purchase the various sauces to go and take home. Everytime we are in Nashville we have to stop by here for some BBQ. Love it 🍖💨 🍖💨

Every single time I go to Nashville, it includes a stop by Jack's! Today was my husband's first visit. We split a 3 meat plate and it was so good. Smoked chicken, brisket, and ribs were cooked to perfection. The bone pulled clean out of the ribs. Anyone from the south knows that means the ribs are super tender! We got the macaroni and cheese, potato salad, and the famous corn light bread. That is not a typo. Corn. Light. Bread. It is absolutely the most delicious, moist bread to ever grace a plate of BBQ. We bought an entire loaf of it to take home. Finally, the reason we went to the Charlotte St store was I wanted him to have dessert... Banana Pudding! Y'all! This is nanner puddin' like you find at a Baptist potluck. Amen and God bless the cook.
