Interesting place to visit, beautiful rock formations. We liked learning a little about the types of rock that were there on the informational sign by the lower lot. The trail leads out over the rocks and around a point, which me as a slightly less steady person could not traverse. If you aren't sure of foot I wouldn't attempt to follow this extra, red blazed trail on the rocks. Beautiful spot!

We had an amazing day hiking and sight seeing. It was a breezy day with light snow and ice covered trails. The views are amazing this time of year. The surf was raging and the sun was shining 🌟. The walk along the path to the big stairs is an easy one. The small town is a beautiful New England fishing town. Definitely worth a visit 🙂

Absolutely beautiful area. In my opinion probably not worth the drive just to see the stairs but well worth the stop if you're in the area. It's great you can have a dog here as so many coastal areas are so anti dog
