Let me start by saying I’ve been a loyal customer of pc Richard I’d say over 30 years. In this tenure I have purchased tens of thousands of dollars on numerous items such as tv, computers kitchen appliances and even a mattress. I like to think I was a good customer. Around 6 months ago I purchased a Amanda top freezer as well as a Frigidaire oven. The oven came up just fine but the delivery guy said I’d have to remove banisters to get my 36” Samsung refrigerator, so I cancelled the order no problem. Fast forward to around two weeks ago I again purchase a 33” whirlpool refrigerator that was not on the showroom floor but Mauro (salesman assured me the same as 36) so I purchased the 33” and removed my banisters (which I will include pictures). The delivery was scheduled for 11-2pm the guy called around 2:15 saying he will be there in 10minutes. Trust me this guy came here not wanting to work. The guy comes out his truck with tape measure starts measuring everything in my house. I assured him my refrigerator was only purchased 10 years ago with one banister up. Now I have no banister and should be easy get out ( minus heavy) when all the measuring was up to par this guy starts saying this is four man job this is a four man job. He takes my fridge apart then hands me piece paper to sign saying that if he slips and refrigerator falls down my steps causing major damage he’s not liable. I smartly informed him he was nuts if it rubs or scratches that’s ok but unforeseen atrocity are you kidding. So he refuses to take it down. Irate I call Mauro and after conversing with Mauro and his manager I decided give in a little and let him leave my fridge upstairs until they had four man crew. Then this guy says the 33” whirlpool needed 4 men which I seem on floor in lowes and it almost looked like a toy but the manager accepted his answer and would not delive he said he can have four man crew on Tuesday so I cancelled the order. I understand customer are demanding sometimes and are not always right but in this case and after writing this novel trust me I am. Ps thank you for not delivering that 33” whirlpool because when I seen it at lowes it was like a toy so I purchased an lg 36” which I will enclose. I will also cancel my pcrichard card (which is longest card I have) and never go there again New York has too many options for this nonsense. Oh and they’ll deliver Sunday the 18th. Update Update Update: New 36” lg installed thanks again guys what a way to lose a lifelong customer by the way it was a three person crew

I have been a customer with PC Richard for over twenty years. I always pay the warranty for appliances that I purchase. Usually,. my appliances break down when the warranty is expired. However, recently my refrigerator broke down and luckily it was still in warranty. I thought that paying a 400.00 warranty on my refrigerator was going to be simple. Boy was I wrong. It's been a month now with no refrigerator.Technicians keep ordering parts and time keeps passing by. My entire family has been so inconvenience with their poor customer care. The technician come whenever they want and do not want to service the refrigerators. One technician said that he could not service the refrigerator because it was turned off. If he had told us that it would have been on. Now I have to wait for another week. I know they are just trying to delay giving us a new refrigerator. I will probably have to buy a new refrigerator, I can not have my children without a refrigerator. Things are tight. My children just went back to school. This is just a warning to everyone! Do not buy any warranty from PC Richard, it's a scam.

CROOKS! This company is not family oriented any more or about their customers. Been a long term customer with them in terms of appliances. They don’t remind you to renew your extended warranty basically claiming the dept doesn’t exist any more so whoops not our fault. Normally any company would send you at least an email or a letter stating hey your warranty will expire soon would you like to renew…nope not PC Richard…mistake making recent purchases with this company.

I had a refrigerator delivered today. There is a film around the whole appliance that they were unable to remove. It is a black refrigerator so it looks terrible, as though there are scratches. No one will help me from the Commack store . What can I do ?
Corporate headquarters
Also took off from work the third times...only to be advised by the service man that the wrong part was ordered and the manager Wayne from the Farmingdale office has yet to call me back... how unprofessional
Call Headquarters. Today l spoke to their Service Department. Asked the woman about a circuit board my 1 year old stove needs. Told me up to 14 days. I asked very politely what happened to America? She responded, Thank Your President!!! WTF does Politics have to do with my part?? I then spoke to a Supervisor and she told me that a P.C. Richard employee has her own political beliefs!!! What?? Good Luck with your dilemma. P.C. Richard lost a 30 plus year customer. Plus my 4 grown adult children who have been customers!
Yes I agree, corporate can help you.
I am not familiar with that, please contact them directly
Lol. It was just a comment. The products they sell are world class. Are there any truth in what they said ? The 2 week wait can be attributed to the U.S.P.S.'s new policies iniated by the new post master General, recently appointed by the president. Maybe that's what they were referencing. In any account, its just another case of free speech. Have a wonderful day.
No idea stop asking me stupid questions. I deliver, I do not buy.
Dont sound good. I'd give them a call first thing Monday morning.
contact the manufacturer
Go back to the location u bought it from and ask for a manager. If that doesn't work, go to the corporate office in Farmingdale and speak to Peter Richard III
This is not a venue for contacting the retailer, it is for public reviews. I don’t know why you would expect them to answer your customer service question.
